McAnulty, Wallace M.
McAnulty acts as "official thank you man" for the Service Man's Newsletter going to his battery. He wishes he had known that Howard Kucera was at Pearl Harbor since leave was boring, especially under prohibition. He mourns the deaths of Johnnie Butler and Bob Newsom. He wonders how killing will affect his mates "in later life." He and Robert Harer are the farthest from home, nearly two years without "even a three day pass."
