This is the carbon copy of Hepner's answer to Kahan's letter of November 12. Hepner thanks him and believes that his faith in the "home folks" is justified. He says that the "remaining" students "are more serious minded than at any time previous to December 7, 1941." Promising to check whether Kahan is on the newsletter mailing list, Hepner sends his good wishes.
