Kahan, Maurice J.
Kahn says he is mail orderly, bugler, and handman, "quite a job." He is with "an evacuation unit" that is "self contained" and not attached to any other. Mourning the loss of friends, Kahn says he hopes "we shall win, the war and I hope, the peace." At the hospital they mail and receive about 1,000 letters a week. He mentions Bob Anderson, Tom Milligan, and Ralph McQuaid.
