Johnson, Frank W.
Johnson is to be sent overseas "any day now." He likes New Orleans, but the mosquitos sound like dive bombers, and no one pays attention to traffic lights. He will be overseas before his application to Officer Candidate School can be processed. The war will be shorter than he thought, with "quite explosive headlines" in about three months. He doesn't like to see 18-year-olds drafted.
