Hollenbeck, William Bruce
Private Hollenbeck is in Radio School, expecting to be "ballast" on an airplane as a "flying radio operator." Like half of his barracks mates, he is ill, and like the other half "code happy" from "the "dahs" and "dits." He describes a football game he saw and goes on to discuss football, with Leo Calland's departure for the Navy. He mentions Wally McAnulty and his old 251st Anti-Aircraft unit.
