Active from 1966-1968, the San Francisco Oracle (or the Oracle of the City of San Francisco) was an underground newspaper that focused on the counterculture movement, music, and art. Most issues were colorful with "psychedelic" art in the centerfold and often on the front page. The paper was founded and edited by Allen Cohen, known for artists like Bruce Conner, represented here on page 5.
