This poster promotes a national convention of the Medical Committee for Human Rights (MCHR) at the University of California, San Diego. It includes a schedule of events. This group was organized in New York in 1964 to take care of civil rights workers in the South but expanded their focus to include hospital desegregation and health care of poor people, including black people. They disbanded in the 1980s.
