Gay and Lesbian Veterans car in Pride parade, 1991

Unidentified people wave from the Gay and Lesbian Veterans car. The pickup truck carrying them is covered by netting, perhaps camouflage. On the bed of the truck are outsized shadowy figures who appear to be erecting a pink triangle in a scene reminiscent of the iconic picture of the United States (US) Marines who raised a US flag on Iwo Jima. They are at the end of the parade route.
