Portrait of Florence Goss

Goss formed the women's committee of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra in 1949 and served as the chairman of the Board of Directors from 1953-56, and in 1959. She developed the "Musically Speaking" lecture program, and was designated a lifetime member of the board for her years of service. A note on the back of the print reads "Florence Goss - Honorary Life Director."
