A caption reads, "Andre Kostelanetz will be guest conductor with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra in its summer season finale August 25, 26 & 27." This print is presumably a promotional photograph for Kostelanetz's guest performance with the symphony. He was a Russian-born American conductor and musical arranger best known for pioneering the genre of easy listening. He performed as the guest conductor with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra on August 25th, 26th, and 27th, 1978, for the Summer of Stars series.
