Aerial view of Cabrillo Bridge from Laurel Street into Balboa Park (formerly City Park), facing east toward the park. Forest of trees surround the bridge. The street carried by the bridge is called El Prado in 2013. Puente Cabrillo was designed for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 by Frank Phillips Allen, Jr. (1881-1943), and Thomas B. Hunter, with construction and opening in 1914. The reverse reads: "Cabrillo Bridge, June 1918"
