Dettling waves as the two sit on the back of a convertible with an unidentified driver. Their parade car is heading north on Sixth Avenue, with the California Tower in the background behind Dettling's arm. Spectators sit and stand at a curb at right. Dettling is listed on the sign on the car as "Chairperson," and Somers as "Executive Director." The same two people are shown from the opposite side in P001.039M.
