Zierman holds a vertical flag with "ParadeFest '88 Here...And Here To Stay!" on a background of rainbow stripes. This Pride parade contingent consists mainly of volunteers who carry such flags for each year since San Diego Pride events began. The Archives became the Lesbian and Gay Historical Society of San Diego, then was renamed the Lambda Archives of San Diego in 2003.
