The two people sitting on the back of a red convertible are Marshall and Marx, but it is not known which is which. The sign on the car reads, "Marx & Marshall / First Gay and Lesbian Scholarship Donors at UCSD." Another sign reads, "UCSD Pride." "UCSD" stands for University of California at San Diego. The couple also donated to the San Diego LGBT Community Center.
