AIDS Quilt display at Pride parade, 1998

Pride Photography Project

 

The AIDS Quilt project included the work of many groups in the United States, with pieces being taken to Washington, DC where the whole would later reside. This piece is this year's community contribution to the quilt, which would be readied for transport after display. Each patch was dedicated to a particular victim of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-AIDS) by name.
