Grossman conducts the interview in Cole's home in Del Mar. Cole recalls "two great influences in my life." She speaks about the Great Depression and about counseling and psychoanalysis. She wrote two books about teaching art to children: Children's Arts from Deep Down Inside (1966) and The Arts in the Classroom (1940).
