This "Hand-colored" image of the Palace of Food and Beverages during the California Pacific Exposition held in San Diego's Balboa Park in 1935 is billed as an example of Spanish-Colonial-style architecture. This building was designed by Carleton M. Winslow (1876-1946) for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 as the Varied Industries and Food Products Building and later renamed the Foreign and Domestic Industries Building, called the Food and Beverage Building, and used as the County Fair Building before it was demolished and rebuilt as the Casa del Prado in 1971.
