Sculptured facade entrance of the Science of Man building during the California Pacific Exposition of 1935. The dome of the California Building can be seen on the right at the top, part of the same California State Building originallydesigned by Bertram Goodhue (1869-1924) and built for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915. Behind this frontispiece was a gallery that is now (along with the California Building) part of the San Diego Museum of Man. These exposition were held in San Diego's Balboa Park.
