This linen picture postcard shows a four-part image with an interior, the name of the Gay Nineties establishment, the address in San Diego, California, and an inset of the street view. The message portion of the card describes the site as "Finest in Liquors and Entertainment. Continuous Entertainment on our Famous Elevating Stage." The publisher's number on the back of the card is 8088. The linen era in postcard publishing lasted from about 1930 possibly into the early 1950s, thus limiting the date range of this card.
