An open-air San Diego Zoo tour bus stops at the polar-bear exhibit

 

 

 

 

This color postcard depicts an open-air, one-stage tour bus with a truck-like cab stopping to give its passengers a view of three polar bears. The men and women on the tour bus are mostly facing the bears, some standing, some leaning off the side of the bus. Many are wearing hats; one man is in his shirtsleeves. The bears are on the other side of a dry moat, with foliage along a low wall on the bus side of the moat. The San Diego Zoo is in Balboa Park.
