The Cabrillo Bridge crosses over California State Highway 163 in Cabrillo Canyon and carries traffic on el Prado street to and from the west entrance of Balboa Park, San Diego, California. The bridge (also known as Puente de Cabrillo) was built for the Panama-Callifornia Exposition of 1915. Its designers were Frank Phillips Allen, Jr. (1881-1943), and Thomas B. Hunter, with construction and opening in 1914. Toward the right is the California Tower (architect Bertram Goodhue, 1869-1924), also built for the 1915 Exposition.
