In general, white borders like these were used from about 1913 to about 1932. The publisher's number in the top margin is 1162. Whose number is in the lower right corner, 17579, is unknown. The name of the apartment building is on the sign on the front, and according to a Flickr posting in 2009 by Margaret Hastings Kemp, the two people standing at the corner of the building on the left are the owners and the Kemp's great grandparents, Frank and Carrie Richards. She notes the railroad tracks in front.
