The incline railway on Santa Catalina Island ran from the top of the amphitheatre in Avalon up the mountain to an inn at the top. The incline railway on the other side was called "Angel's Flight" and led to Pebble Beach. (See PC-001-075.) Although unacknowledged, Curt Teich's number on the back of the card is A-12562, which, according to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives and records from this database, translates to 1910. The publisher's number on the back is 3887.
