This Real Photo Post Card has written on it, "Length 36 in., Weight 19-3/4 lbs.," a publisher's number of B-360, and "Putnam Studios, L. A." This card was created by a process in which any photographer could take a "snapshot," deliver the negative to a photo developer, and have it printed on a postcard backing. The special papers used for this process are indexed by brand and date, and the paper used for this photograph was issued between 1925 and 1942, according to the letters bordering the stampbox on the back.
