A large tent has a sign reading "Welcome," a stylized "CA," and "convention." The date is from the postmark on the reverse of this Real Photo Post Card. This picture postcard was created by a process in which any photographer could take a "snapshot," deliver the negative to a photo developer and have it printed on a postcard backing. The papers used for this process are indexed by brand and date, and this paperwas issued between 1925 and 1942, according to the letters bordering the stampbox on the back. (Although this card was mailed, the stamp was torn off, and two letters are visible.)
