The homes of Hollywood movie stars have traditionally been the subjects of postcards. In this case the actor is Marion Davies (1897-1961), remembered also as a producer, screenwriter, and philanthropist, but best known for her romantic relationship with newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst. Although there is no attribution, there is a number in the right lower corner, a typical place and style for a number belonging to publisher, printer and creator Curt Teich. According to the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, 106904 represents the year 1922. The publisher's number at the top of this card is 860.
