The initial building out of the expanded group shown on this hand-tinted picture postcard is the central part with pillars that juts out toward the lawn. Dedicated in 1899, this structure was designed by Irving Gill (1870-1936) and construction continued to add on until 1910. The photograph on this card is the same as the ones for PC-000-975PC-000-979, but tinted with different colors. This card has a seal of the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 on the back.
