In this Real Photo Post Card, a woman sits in a corner on a settee, leaning against pillows. Around her are a table with a vase and flowers, vases of flowers on the fender of the fireplace on her right, and plants and knickknacks on the mantelpiece, as well as a picture on the wall above her head. A window with a curtain is on her left. The Real Photo process allowed amateur and professional photographers to take "snap shots," deliver the film to a photo-finishing shop, and take away postcards ready for mailing. Some types of printout paper allowed exposure indoors, even under gas lamps. The woman is not identified but is presumably the writer of the message on the back of the postcard.
