The California Building (with the dome) in Balboa Park is shown from the north, with the California Tower on the left. These buildings were also known as the California State Building during the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 for which the complex was built. These buildings are part of the California Quadrangle, and the California Bulding became the San Diego Museum of Man. Built for the Exposition, these buildings were designed by Bertram Goodhue (1869-1924).
