"Hand-colored" image of the Indian Arts Building designed by Carleton Winslow (1876-1946) in 1912, with the California Tower in the middle background. The Indian Arts Building was built for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 on the southwest corner of the Plaza de Panama. It was renamed the Russia and Brazil Building for the 1916 Exposition, for the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935 became the Palace of Parent and Child, and then the House of Charm, demolished and then rebuilt in 1996. The California Tower was designed by Bertram Goodhue (1869-1924) and also built for the 1915 Exposition.
