This is a hand-colored linen postcard advertising the Red Sails Inn at Fishermen's Wharf, "Foot of G Street," at 654 Harbor Drive in San Diego, California. This appears to be a sailboat-topped restaurant on San Diego Bay. It claims on the back to be "located where the book 'I Cover the Waterfront' was written." Proprietors are stated to be "Mr. and Mrs. Viery." This is the "original" Red Sails Inn said to be "in the 20's" by the 2013 Red Sails Inn Web site. The Red Sails Inn in this year is at 2614 Shelter Island Drive in San Diego, established 1957. The Curt Teich number in the stampbox on the back is 9A-H1320, decoding to the year 1939.
