Dear Grandma,
Thank you very much for the note. Mother sent me the stamps.
Thank you loads. She says you have a terrible cold. I do hope you
are over it by now.
I had a wonderful time in the snow. I saw soft, fluffy new-fallen
snow; snow with a little crust over it; hard packed icy snow and 2 &
3 foot drifts. Also the slushy, muddy kind, though it was [word crossed out] scarce. The pine trees were heavily laden. When the sun came out & the wind started to blow the trees threw snow balls at us. Got back at 8 P.M.
Sun. dead tired.
