Everett Adargo Deep Sea Diver, Santa Catalina Island, California
Everett Adargo is here associated with the ship Phoenix, a glass-bottom boat, in the lower panel. His signature has been printed as if autographed above the ship. Adargo is also shown in PC-001-195 standing on a diving board. Divers like Adargo went to the seafloor to point out interesting plants and animals and retrieve specimens for the passengers. On the back is printed "What we saw at Catalina," and Adargo's record of diving for 3 minutes and 15 seconds to a depth of 56 feet. The back of the postcard also has a list of animals and plants that can be seen living on the seafloor. The card is damaged at the bottom right, with stains elsewhere.
