The amphitheatre in Avalon (Avalon Bowl) was built on a mountainside on the south end of Avalon in 1904. Although unacknowledged, the number on the back of the card, A-95567, belongs to Curt Teich and, according to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, translates to 1923. The publisher's number in front of the title on the right is C. I. 28.
