A steamship is docked at the Steamr Pier, the largest ship in the Bay. Smaller ships and small boats cluster around the Green Pleasure Pier toward the bottom of the card. On the right the Peter Gano House (1890) appears to jut into the Bay from the hill. Near the horizon at the top, defining the northwest rim of the Bay, is the Catalina Casino. The publisher's number of this linen postcard, in the upper left corner, is 556, and along the right margin on the front is "From Kodachrome by Jusmet."
