At the top of the hill on the right is the Holly Hill House, built by Peter Gano in 1890. At the bottom of the hill is one of the numerous tent cities sprouting in the summers. The first pier, moving toward the left but pointing right, is the Green Pleasure Pier, erected in 1909. The other pier not far from it is the Steamer Pier. On the edge of Avalon Bay, not far from the horizon on the left, is Sugar Loaf Point, with the Sugar Loaf Casino and Sugar Loaf Rock jutting out into the ocean. The number on the back of the card is A-91779, which, according to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, translates to 1922. The publisher's number at the top right is C. I. 17.
