[Curt Teich & Co., Inc., Chicago, Illinois]
A ferry steamship sits at anchor at the Steamer Pier. At the bottom on the right, the aquarium's red roof is just visible. Behind the Steamer Pier is the Green Pleasure Pier. Toward the bottom of the far hill overlooking the Bay is the Holly Hill House with a red cupola, formerly known as Lookout Cot, built by Peter Gano in 1890. Above it at the top of Mt. Ada is the residence of the main owner of the Island, William Wrigley, Jr. Though unacknowledged, the number A-95569 on the back belonged to printer, producer, creator Curt Teich and denotes the year1923. The publisher's number in the top margin is C.I. 27.
