C.T. American Art Colored, Chicago, Illinois [Curt Teich]
The title reflects a theme of fishing and huge catches reiterated on postcards from Catalina. The number in the right lower corner of the card is 109279, which, according to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, translates to 1926, which is in accord with the clothing, including the bathing costume worn by the small child sitting on the back of the swordfish on the deck. The motto "In All The World No Trip Like This" and a colored flag with just a "W" and a white border, on the back of the card, belonged to the Wilmington Transportation Company, which owned the steamships exclusively serving the route between San Pedro and Catalina Island.
