A police officer on a motorcycle at left watches the end of the parade as the tight line of unidentified marchers passes on the right, in the right lane only. The parade ended in Balboa Park with a rally against Proposition 6, sponsored by John Briggs, that would have barred gay and lesbians from teaching, and banned any positive mention of homosexuality.
