Miller, Arthur J.
Miller announces he is approaching his one year anniversary in the Army Air Forces. He volunteered and "unfortunately was accepted." After the closure of the ASTP (Army Specialized Training Program), they were sent to a variety of bases. He was involved in an automobile accident in Berkeley and spent two months in the hospital. He tells Adams he is "involved in a deep dark plot to extricate [himself] from this morass of stupidity" in the Army.
