Chase, Lionel E.
Chase says the newsletter has chased him to Sioux City. He mentions Doug Inman and Bob Chase, writing onboard a B-17 over Omaha. Chase remarks, "Tearing a .50 cal[iber] machine gun apart blindfolded is easy. Putting it back is something else." This "swamper" learning the "Norden sight" continues his narrative at 10,000 feet by saying he would rather land in San Diego.
