Marchers from the Lesbian and Gay Archives of San Diego hold banners of past Pride themes, with the year included. Some banners read, "United for our Rights 91," "A Decade of Pride 84," "Proud Diversified United 82," "Making History 1987," and "I [heart] Being Out." The Archives eventually became the Lambda Archives.
