San Diego State University was one of three universities on the West Coast to be designated a Bicentennial campus by the US Government, and this would appear to be a kiosk prepared for that year-long celebration. The unit is shown with the television screen installed facing the camera. Other photographs of this kiosk include NEG-00-283 through NEG-00-295, and NEG-00-297 through NEG_00-299. To the right is a Bicentennial panel.
