A student (one of the same group in NEG-00-099) looks into a display case containing fossils. (The sign cut off at the left top is seen in other photographs to read "Mollusca.") This display case most likely holds part of the 300 ore and rock sample collection gathered by John Lewis of Pacific Beach and donated in 1965 to the Geology Department, then displayed at San Diego State College. There are several views of these cases.
