An unidentified man stands with his back to the camera, pointing to an object in a display case in the lobby of the Chemistry and Geology Building at San Diego State College. This case is to the left of another display case, and both are in front of a mural depicting dinosaurs, mammoths, and other prehistoric animals. The objects in the display cases are geological samples and fossils. This might be part of the 300 ore and rock sample collection gathered by John Lewis of Pacific Beach and donated in 1965. Several views of these exhibit cases are in other negatives.
