This is a dark photograph of geological samples and a fossil on shelves in exhibit cases in the lobby of the Chemistry-Geology Building at San Diego State College. The fossil in the foreground appears to be an arthropod (perhaps a sea scorpion). This might be part of the 300 ore and rock sample collection gathered by John Lewis of Pacific Beach and donated in 1965.
