The Texas Instruments Recti/riter was a rectilinear strip-chart recorder used to record electrical phenomena. It was introduced in 1955 and marketed for studies of radar networks, nuclear energy projects, aircraft and missile research, public utility operations, and analog computer work. This model has dual recording paper strips. It may have been used in a geophysical laboratory, but its site at San Diego State College is unidentified. Here it is mounted with a power supply below it on the left and a function generator on top.
