This is an analog computer with an analog meter, a plugboard, and several arrays at the back that include vacuum tubes. It is most likely a Heathkit Analog Computer H1, a type first made in 1956. This same unit is shown in several negatives and Physics Department photographs. This photo shows the tube arrays and their extent more clearly.
