Some of the group seen here may be the student filmmakers of a parody of "Beau Geste." This site, one of three filming locations, is the old Indian Pueblo or Village at Balboa Park, razed in 1946. The film was made by members of San Diego State College's Sigma Lambda fraternity and others. The fraternity sponsored the only three showings of the film, at San Diego State College in 1940.
