Description

Calling the newsletters "Memos from Montezuma," Lieutenant (junior grade) Chruden calls them a "welcome link with former college days." He and some others went hunting for wild goats in the Haleakala volcanic crater, marvels at the island as a "geographer's paradise," and encloses a Rotary Club circular to describe it. His promotion is mentioned in a postscript.
